Product Description

Convenient operation, versatility and safety: The AT-710M titrator comes with control unit with a large TFT colour touch screen and offers everything required to perform all kinds of titrations, from simple acidity determinations to fully automated titration procedures requiring several burettes to add auxiliary reagents or to do back titrations. Features like automatic correction of the thermal expansion of the reagents, automatic storage of the reagent data directly in the burette and comprehensive check functions ensure reliable results.

The AT-710M is flexibly expandable: The control unit of the AT-710M titrator can control up to 4 titrators of any type – including Karl Fischer volumetric and coulometric titrators – simultaneously.

No printer required
Paper saving and environmentally friendly – results no longer need to be printed: Measurement results are converted to PDF and can be stored in a USB flash drive.

Full GLP compliance
The AT-710S offers comprehensive GLP functions which ensure that system performance checks are performed at regular intervals. Up to 100 records of system performance checks, burette precision validations and sensor calibrations are stored in the instrument.

No errors due to temperature fluctuations
The AT-710S monitors the temperature of the titration reagent and corrects errors due to volume expansion automatically.

Unique flexibility
The AT-710M is based on a new approach in terms of modularity. The core part of the system, the MCU-710M control unit, is a versatile, touch panel controlled titration work station which can control up to four KEM 710 titration units of any type. This saves space, time and money: If you need to perform Karl-Fischer moisture determinations and potentiometric titrations, you can easily upgrade your system without needing to invest money and waste valuable bench space for an additional display and spending time to get familiar with a new user interface.

Now comes with an included flexible qwerty keyboard.

Automation

Multiple Sample Changer CHA-700

CHA-700 Sample Changer

Zero Touch Operation: Unprecedented ease of use

The CHA-700 Sample Changer combines the advantages of an automation system with a totally new operating philosophy, which brings the conventional ‘how many clicks are required per measurement’ debate to an abrupt end: Zero Touch Operation does not mean fewer clicks required per measurement – it means no click at all!

The CHA-700 is an automatic titration stand with seven positions: One position is reserved for a beaker to clean and store the electrode. Each of the other six positions can freely be assigned to a certain type of measurement. To start a measurement, the operator simply needs to put the sample into the corresponding position – no method to select, no task list to fill, no start button to click. The system performs the titrations exactly in the order in which the samples have been put onto the tray. During operation, already titrated samples can continuously be replaced by new ones. This saves valuable time, as the operator does not have to wait for a titration to finish in order to put a new sample. Even urgent samples can be titrated immediately without needing to touch any key, performing the following fully-intuitive procedure: The operator lifts the less urgent samples briefly up to change the order in which they will be processed. That’s it! As soon as all the samples are processed, the electrode returns to the reserved position and remains there.

CHA-700 Sample Changer

Smallest space requirements with optimal functionality

A fully fledged titration system hardly occupies more bench space than a normal potentiometric titrator with it’s titration stand. It goes without saying that it is far more compact than any other automated titration system but there are three other important advantages compared to such systems:

  • There is no acceleration of a turntable which could cause the samples to spill over.
  • All the samples can easily be replaced at anytime, there is never a sample at the rear of the turntable which hardly can be reached.
  • Changing the order in which the samples are processed is an easy task: The samples only need to be lifted up in the desired order – no need to rearrange the order of the beakers on the tray.

Adaptable to your specific requirements

The standard version of the CHA-700 is designed to be used with 250 mL or 200 mL standard beakers or disposable cups. Thanks to optional adapters several or all positions can easily be modified to hold 100 mL beakers or 50 mL disposable cups.

The CHA-700 can control an external pump which allows to equip it with a powerful shower/drain system to thoroughly clean the electrode and the stirrer after titrations.

Multiple Sample Changer CHA-600

CHA-600-12 Sample Changer

Unique concept for cleaning and preconditioning

The CHA-600 Multiple Sample Changer offers much more performance and flexibility than traditional titration sample changers, as it is based on an unique concept for cleaning and preconditioning of the electrodes between titrations: Instead of cleaning the electrodes with a shower on top of a titration beaker or dipping them into special dedicated cleaning and pre-conditioning beakers, the titration head moves into a stationary rinsing container. This operating principle offers several substantial benefits:

  • No rinsing and conditioning beakers required.
  • Easier setup of the titration sequence.
  • No unnecessary back and forth rotations of the turntable.
  • More powerful cleaning.
  • No splattering around of rinsing solvents.
  • No obscure jumble of tubes on the titration head.
CHA-600 external pumps

Advanced liquid handling

The CHA-600 features 2 built-in peristaltic pumps. For special applications like non aqueous titrations or applications which require a pre-treatment of the samples or the addition auxiliary reagents the CHA-600 can control several additional external diaphragm and/or peristaltic pumps and an automatic piston burette. The additional pumps can as well be used to automatically empty the beakers after titration and to collect the organic and inorganic waste in different containers. They enable the CHA-600 at the same time to perform series of aqueous and non-aqueous titrations in a row, applying different rinsing and pre-conditioning steps according to the nature of the samples to be titrated.

CHA-600 water circulator

Heating or cooling samples? No problem!

Volatile samples sometimes require cooling, others require heating either because they are solid at room temperature or in order to speed up chemical reactions. The CHA-600 can do both, as it can be equipped with a water bath connected to a circulating thermostat in order to heat or cool the samples as soon as they are put into the turntable.

CHA-600 unit stage

Minimum space requirement

Bench space is often limited. With the optional unit stage, the CHA-600 does not occupy any additional bench space.

CHA-600 evaporation protection

Increased workplace safety

Space in the hood is even more precious. When highly toxic or volatile samples need to be analysed the CHA-600 can be equipped with an evaporation protection or with its own hood.

Tview6 Software

Tview5 Titration Software

Convenient handling of titration data

Titration results are frequently printed out on A4 printers and/or archived on personal computers.
In certain cases, however, it is not ideal or even impossible to have a personal computer or an A4 printer near to the measuring system. In such cases, the Tview6 software is the ideal solution:

  • The AT-610/AT-510 Automatic Potentiometric Titrators and the MKA-610/MKC-610 Karl Fischer Moisture Titrators can store the results of up to 300 titrations on an USB flash drive (memory stick, AT-610, MKA-610 and MKC-610 only) or a compact flash card. The results stored on the memory stick or compact flash card contain all the relevant data, such as calculated results, titration curves, operator names, sample and measuring parameters.
  • With the Tview6 software the results stored on the memory stick or compact flash card can be archived, evaluated, printed out exported to other PC programs like Microsoft Excel, Access or Word.

Tview6 offers numerous possibilities to archive, evaluate and print the titration data:

  • Based on the titration curve data the endpoints can be reevaluated: The Tview6 software allows to simulate the endpoint detection of titration curves obtained with an AT-610 titrator and is thus a valuable tool to develop and optimize titration methods for difficult applications.
  • If required, results can be recalculated based on modified calculation formulas, constants, sample sizes, etc.
  • The filters and statistical functions of Tview6 make it easy to keep an overview of the results and to analyse them statistically.
  • The curves of several titrations can be superimposed.
  • Results can be printed out in freely definable formats based on customizable Microsoft Word templates.
  • The results can be exported to database and spreadsheet programs.
